They drop upon the pastures wide, that do in deserts lie; The little hills on ev'ry side rejoice right pleasantly.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: And the little hills rejoice on every side.

The [luxuriant] pastures in the uncultivated country drip [with moisture], and the hills gird themselves with joy.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

Even the desert pastures drip with it, and the hills are dressed in pure joy.

You have set men over our heads. We have crossed through fire and water. And you have led us out to refreshment.

thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through tire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.

Who, being girt with pow'r, sets fast by his great strength the hills.
