Before me my confusion continually abides; And of my bashful countenance the shame me ever hides:

My confusion is continually before me, And the shame of my face hath covered me,

My dishonor is before me all day long, and shame has covered my face

All the day long is my dishonor before me, And the shame of my face hath covered me,

All day long my disgrace confronts me, and shame covers my face

clothed all around with diversities. After her, virgins will be led to the king. Her neighbors will be brought to you.

clothed round about with varieties. After her shall virgins be brought to the king: her neighbours shall be brought to thee.

For I have borne reproach for thee, my face is hid with shame.

Confound, consume them, that unto my soul are enemies: Cloth'd be they with reproach and shame that do my hurt devise.

Shorten'd his days of youth, and him with shame thou cover'd hast.
