Then did I beat them small as dust before the wind that flies; And I did cast them out like dirt upon the street that lies.


For they beyond their might 'gainst thee did plot mischief and wrong.


The heathen rag'd tumultuously, the kingdoms moved were: The Lord God uttered his voice, the earth did melt for fear.


The Lord of hosts upon our side doth constantly remain: The God of Jacob's our refuge, us safely to maintain.


I'll praise thee 'mong the people, Lord; 'mong nations sing will I:


Do not forget the voice of those that are thine enemies: Of those the tumult ever grows that do against thee rise.


Against thy chosen people they do crafty counsel take; And they against thy hidden ones do consultations make.
