For in her rubbish and her stones thy servants pleasure take; Yea, they the very dust thereof do favour for her sake.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And favour the dust thereof.

For Your servants take [melancholy] pleasure in the stones [of her ruins] and show pity for her dust.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust.

Your servants cherish Zion’s stones; they show mercy even to her dirt.

For he knows our form. He has called to mind that we are dust.

for he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:

'Tis time thou work, Lord; for they have made void thy law divine.

O God, the heathen enter'd have thine heritage; by them Defiled is thy house: on heaps they laid Jerusalem.
