Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage;


The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes behold, his gaze examines humankind.


The Lord has scorned his altar, disowned his sanctuary; he has delivered into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; a clamor was raised in the house of the Lord as on a day of festival.


You shall not follow the practices of the nation that I am driving out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.


Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not spurn them, or abhor them so as to destroy them utterly and break my covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God;


In one month I disposed of the three shepherds, for I had become impatient with them, and they also detested me.
