his archers surround me. He slashes open my kidneys, and shows no mercy; he pours out my gall on the ground.


Do not fret because of the wicked; do not be envious of wrongdoers,


Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices.


For I was envious of the arrogant; I saw the prosperity of the wicked.


He shot into my vitals the arrows of his quiver;
