You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your help has made me great.


Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;


Wondrously show your steadfast love, O savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand.


The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.


For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.


Your rulers have all fled together; they were captured without the use of a bow. All of you who were found were captured, though they had fled far away.


He will feed his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms, and carry them in his bosom, and gently lead the mother sheep.
