The two scoundrels came in and sat opposite him; and the scoundrels brought a charge against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city, and stoned him to death.


how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, one who drinks iniquity like water!


Who is there like Job, who drinks up scoffing like water,


They think in their heart, “God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.”


Their ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of their sight; as for their foes, they scoff at them.


The mind of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.


Scoundrels concoct evil, and their speech is like a scorching fire.


Cease straying, my child, from the words of knowledge, in order that you may hear instruction.


They feed on the sin of my people; they are greedy for their iniquity.
