Let their table be a trap for them, a snare for their allies.


“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?


The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.


The wise are cautious and turn away from evil, but the fool throws off restraint and is careless.


for her way leads down to death, and her paths to the shades;


The iniquities of the wicked ensnare them, and they are caught in the toils of their sin.

O simple ones, learn prudence; acquire intelligence, you who lack it.
