He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,


whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all belong to you,


For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.


So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord—


Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.


and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.


May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.


It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be put to shame in any way, but that by my speaking with all boldness, Christ will be exalted now as always in my body, whether by life or by death.


If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which I prefer.


I am hard pressed between the two: my desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better;


All of them are seeking their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.


When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.


And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”
