These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;


Once while Jesus was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret, and the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God,


He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they remained with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.


Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.


So the disciples said to one another, “Surely no one has brought him something to eat?”


One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him,


When they had entered the city, they went to the room upstairs where they were staying, Peter, and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James.
