‘For the blood of Naboth and for the blood of his children that I saw yesterday, says the Lord, I swear I will repay you on this very plot of ground.’ Now therefore lift him out and throw him on the plot of ground, in accordance with the word of the Lord.”


He looses the sash of kings, and binds a waistcloth on their loins.

Because God has loosed my bowstring and humbled me, they have cast off restraint in my presence.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.


Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness.
