God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.


The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the air, and to every animal of the field; but for the man there was not found a helper as his partner.


The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.”


He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.


If anyone thinks that he is not behaving properly toward his fiancée, if his passions are strong, and so it has to be, let him marry as he wishes; it is no sin. Let them marry.


Husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honor to the woman as the weaker sex, since they too are also heirs of the gracious gift of life—so that nothing may hinder your prayers.
