Exodus 23:3
10 Tagairtí Cros

You shall not pervert the justice due to your poor in their lawsuits.

It is not right to be partial to the guilty, or to subvert the innocent in judgment.

Do not rob the poor because they are poor, or crush the afflicted at the gate;

Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,

You shall not render an unjust judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great: with justice you shall judge your neighbor.

For I know how many are your transgressions, and how great are your sins— you who afflict the righteous, who take a bribe, and push aside the needy in the gate.

You must not be partial in judging: hear out the small and the great alike; you shall not be intimidated by anyone, for the judgment is God's. Any case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.”

You must not distort justice; you must not show partiality; and you must not accept bribes, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
