Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.


Then the woman went to all the people with her wise plan. And they cut off the head of Sheba son of Bichri, and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they dispersed from the city, and all went to their homes, while Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.


One wise person went up against a city of warriors and brought down the stronghold in which they trusted.


For there is no enduring remembrance of the wise or of fools, seeing that in the days to come all will have been long forgotten. How can the wise die just like fools?


Better is a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king, who will no longer take advice.


Wisdom gives strength to the wise more than ten rulers that are in a city.


Then I saw the wicked buried; they used to go in and out of the holy place, and were praised in the city where they had done such things. This also is vanity.
