He said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.


So the water has been wholesome to this day, according to the word that Elisha spoke.


He said, “Then bring some flour.” He threw it into the pot, and said, “Serve the people and let them eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.


Then the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, he cut off a stick, and threw it in there, and made the iron float.


You shall not omit from your grain offerings the salt of the covenant with your God; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.


“Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.


Salt is good; but if salt has lost its saltiness, how can you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”


When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made mud with the saliva and spread the mud on the man's eyes,


he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”
