The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

And the eye is not able to say to the hand, I have no need of you, nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

So the eye can’t say to the hand, “I don’t need you,” or in turn, the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”

And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need for your works." And again, the head cannot say to the feet, "You are of no use to me."

And the eye cannot say to the hand: I need not thy help; nor again the head to the feet: I have no need of you.

When the ear heard, it commended me, and when the eye saw, it approved;

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?

As it is, there are many members, yet one body.

On the contrary, the members of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
