That is how it continued to be; the cloud covered it, and at night it looked like fire.
When the cloud remained over the tabernacle a long time, the Israelites obeyed the Lord’s order and did not set out.
Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle for only a few days; at the Lord’s command they would set up camp, and then at his command they would set out.
For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
