So at the Lord’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.
So the men Moses had sent to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report about it –
Why do you discourage the Israelites from crossing over into the land the Lord has given them?
