‘Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.


But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary is to be put to death.’


Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and illness.


As you go, proclaim this message: “The kingdom of heaven has come near.”


‘Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts –


they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on people who are ill, and they will get well.’


Heal those there who are ill and tell them, “The kingdom of God has come near to you.”


Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’


Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.’
