A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications; in Your faithfulness and in Your righteousness answer me.


O Jehovah, for Your name's sake enliven me; for Your righteousness' sake, bring my soul out of trouble.


Let my judgment go out from Your presence; let Your eyes behold uprightly.


I have called on You, for You will hear me, O God; bow down Your ear to me; hear my speech.


To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.


Bow down Your ear to me; deliver me quickly; be my strong rock, a fortress to save me.


The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.


Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.


O Lord, I pray You, according to all Your righteousness let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a curse to all those who are around us.


No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.
