And he said, Listen, all Judah, and you people of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! So says Jehovah to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude. For the battle is not yours, but God's.


Is not your reverence your hope? Is not your hope the uprightness of your ways?


He shall not be afraid of bad news; his heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.


I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set against me all around.


Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God; for You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone. You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.


And the righteous shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,


and terrified in nothing by your adversaries. For this is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.


But if you also suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, nor be troubled,


Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
