In Gibeon Jehovah appeared to Solomon in a dream by night. And God said, Ask what I shall give you!
Jehovah, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart, You will cause Your ear to hear,
Through the pride of his face the wicked will not seek Him; There is no God in all his schemes.
My heart says to You, Seek my face; Your face, O Jehovah, I will seek;
I sought Jehovah, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
and call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
The humble shall see and be glad; and your heart shall live, you who seek God.
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; and let those who love Your salvation say without ending, Let God be magnified.
For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all those who call on You.
I will rise now and go about the city, in the streets and in the broad ways; I will seek Him whom my soul loves. I sought Him, but I did not find Him.

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.
If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.
Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give Me to drink, you would have asked of Him, and He would have given you living water.
indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
