But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way did the Spirit of Jehovah go from me to speak to you?
They have gaped on me with their mouth; and have scornfully beaten me on the cheek; they gather themselves against me.
Do not say, I will repay evil; wait on Jehovah, and He will save you.
Do not say, I will do so to him as he has done to me; I will give to the man according to his work.
I gave My back to the strikers, and My cheeks to pluckers; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.
He gives his cheek to Him who strikes him; he is filled with reproach.
You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Jehovah.

See that none gives evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.
Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.
