And Pha´raoh–ne´choh made Eli´akim the son of Josi´ah king in the room of Josi´ah his father, and turned his name to Jehoi´akim, and took Jeho´ahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.
And Jehoi´akim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver and the gold of the people of the land, of every one according to his taxation, to give it unto Pha´raoh–ne´choh.
It came also in the days of Jehoi´akim the son of Josi´ah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedeki´ah the son of Josi´ah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.
The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoi´akim the son of Josi´ah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrez´zar king of Babylon;
In the beginning of the reign of Jehoi´akim the son of Josi´ah king of Judah came this word from the Lord, saying,
which Nebuchadnez´zar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconi´ah the son of Jehoi´akim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
