And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, the Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.


But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.


And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.


He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.


O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.


An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.


For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.


and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
