For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit, whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
but even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Phil´ippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
