But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.


And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.


And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw aught.


But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.


And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.


And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.


And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.


And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.


For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.


But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tab´itha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
