Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerx´es the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.


And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.


and the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.


What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?


Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.


Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;


Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.


For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
