Psalm 2:6

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter.


Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.


But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.


Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.


Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.


Thus says the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon a high and prominent mountain:


And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.


Thus says the LORD; I have returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts, the holy mountain.


And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.


And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,


But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,


And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
