For all this they sinned still, and believed not despite his wondrous works.
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of trials in the wilderness:
And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this belt, which is good for nothing.
O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they would not have sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: yet not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
