And he said, Hear you therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.


[A Psalm of David.] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.


Kings' daughters were among your honorable women: at your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.


And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:


And he said unto them, What would you that I should do for you?


So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.


Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.


Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?


Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when he testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
