And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house, and they spoke with him at the door of the house,

For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not violent, not given to dishonest gain;
You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts.
As every man has received a gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
