Jesus said unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?
When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been now a long time in that condition, he said unto him, Will you be made whole?
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God.
Upon which when I had fastened my eyes, I considered, and saw four-footed animals of the earth, and wild beasts, and reptiles, and fowls of the air.
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
And as the lame man who was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, You men of Israel, why marvel you at this? or why look you so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked for alms.
