And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.


Is not destruction to the wicked? and a disaster to the workers of iniquity?


The LORD preserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.


The LORD lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground.


For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my strength is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.


And he struck his enemies and beat them back: he put them to a perpetual reproach.
