11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.


Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O you my friends; for the hand of God has touched me.


For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my strength is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.


For your arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me down.


Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon your cattle which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the donkeys, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous plague.


For the LORD has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers has he covered.


And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they who see not might see; and that they who see might be made blind.


And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.


For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.


It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.


These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.


So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to its own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.


And it was so, that, after they had carried it there, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he struck the men of the city, both small and great, and they had tumors in their private parts.
