But in response, he said to them, "What did Moses instruct you?"
But he answering, saith to them: What did Moses command you?
To the law and to the testimony if they will not speak according to this word, because no morning is in them.
And the Pharisees having come near, asked him, if it is lawful for a man to loose his wife; tempting him.
And they said, Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to loose.
And, behold, a certain skilled in the law stood up, tempting him, and saying, Teacher, what having done shall I inherit eternal life
Search the writings; for ye think in them to have eternal life: and these are they testifying of me.
Tell me, those wishing to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
