And Jesus born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold the magi from the sunrisings arrived in Jerusalem, saying:


And one of them having risen, Agabus by name, signified by the Holy Spirit a great famine was about to be upon the whole habitable globe: which was during Claudius Caesar.


For Paul determined to sail to Ephesus, as it might not be to him to spend the time in Asia: for he hastened, if it were possible to him, to be in Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.


And having found disciples, we remained there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, not to go up to Jerusalem.


And we having finished the voyage from Tyre, arrived at Ptolemais, and having greeted the brethren, we remained one day with them.
