They shall be on Aharon, and on his sons, when they go in to the tent of meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place; that they don't bear iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.


but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of the LORD, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.


*Tell Aharon and his sons to separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Yisra'el, which they make holy to me, and that they not profane my holy name. I am the LORD.


You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, 'How have we polluted you?' In that you say, 'The LORD's table contemptible.'


Henceforth the children of Yisra'el shall not come near the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die.


You shall eat it in every place, you and your households: for it is your reward in return for your service in the tent of meeting.


The LORD spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, saying,


Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.


For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body.
