They returned, and came to En Mishpat (the same is Kadesh), and struck all the country of the `Amaleki, and also the Amori, that lived in Chatzatzon-Tamar.


The LORD's voice shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.


They returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days.


Moshe sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the mitzvah of the LORD: all of them men who were heads of the children of Yisra'el.


The children of Yisra'el, even the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Tzin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miryam died there, and was buried there.


Moshe sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, Thus says your brother Yisra'el, You know all the travail that has happened to us:


and when we cried to the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and brought us forth out of Egypt: and behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border.


Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh-Barnea to see the land.


For when they went up to the valley of Eshkol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Yisra'el, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.


They traveled from `Etzyon-Gever, and encamped in the wilderness of Tzin (the same is Kadesh).


We traveled from Chorev, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw, by the way to the hill country of the Amori, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-Barnea.


It is eleven days' [journey] from Chorev by the way of Mount Se`ir to Kadesh-Barnea.


Then the children of Yehudah drew near to Yehoshua in Gilgal: and Kalev the son of Yefunneh the Kenizzi said to him, You know the thing that the LORD spoke to Moshe the man of God concerning me and concerning you in Kadesh-Barnea.


Forty years old was I when Moshe the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-Barnea to spy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in my heart.
