David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beit-Lechem, which is by the gate!


He built Beit-Lechem, and `Etam, and Tekoa,


It happened, when Yavin king of Chatzor heard of it, that he sent to Yovav king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Akhshaf,


the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Akhshaf, one;


and the border turned about it on the north to Channaton; and the goings out of it were at the valley of Yiftach-El;


This is the inheritance of the children of Zevulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.


Zevulun didn't drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Kena`anim lived among them, and became subject to forced labor.
