Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Efrat (the same is Beit-Lechem).


Yo'av sent to Tekoa, and fetched there a wise woman, and said to her, please act like a mourner, and put on mourning clothing, Please, and don't anoint yourself with oil, but be as a woman who has a long time mourned for the dead:


These were [the sons of] the father of `Etam: Yizre`el, and Yishma, and Yidbash; and the name of their sister was Hatzelelponi;


Their villages were `Etam, and `Ayin, Rimmon, and Tokhen, and `Ashan, five cities;


Rechav`am lived in Yerushalayim, and built cities for defense in Yehudah.


Beit-Tzur, and Sokho, and `Adullam,


They rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Yehoshafat stood and said, Hear me, Yehudah, and you inhabitants of Yerushalayim: believe in the LORD your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper.
