The sons of Le'ah: Re'uven (Ya`akov's firstborn), Shim`on, Levi, Yehudah, Yissakhar, and Zevulun.


These are the heads of their fathers' houses. The sons of Re'uven the firstborn of Yisra'el: Chanokh, and Pallu, Chetzron, and Karmi; these are the families of Re'uven.


By the border of Efrayim, from the east side even to the west side, Re'uven, one [portion].


Only to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.
