It happened, when he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rivka his sister, saying, *This is what the man said to me,* that he came to the man. Behold, he was standing by the camels at the spring.


Her brother and her mother said, *Let the young lady stay with us a few days, at least ten. After that she will go.*


They blessed Rivka, and said to her, *Our sister, may you be the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and let your seed possess the gate of those who hate them.*


Yitzchak was forty years old when he took Rivka, the daughter of Betu'el the Syrian of Paddan-Aram 1, the sister of Lavan the Syrian, to be his wife.


Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Lavan, my brother, in Charan.


Arise, go to Paddan-Aram 1, to the house of Betu'el your mother's father. Take a wife from there from the daughters of Lavan, your mother's brother.


It happened, when Lavan heard the news of Ya`akov, his sister's son, that he ran to meet Ya`akov, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. Ya`akov told Lavan all these things.


He said to them, *Do you know Lavan, the son of Nachor?* They said, *We know him.*
