But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Yerushalayim, in all Yehudah and Shomron, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.*


On the next day, we, who were Sha'ul's companions, departed, and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.


Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Yeshua, the Messiah.


These words pleased the whole multitude. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch;


Sha'ul was consenting to his death. A great persecution arose against the assembly which was in Yerushalayim in that day. They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Yehudah and Shomron, except for the emissaries.


But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, *Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Yerushalayim to `Aza. This is a desert.*


Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Yeshaiyahu the prophet, and said, *Do you understand what you are reading?*


But Philip was found at Ashdod. Passing through, he preached the Good News to all the cities, until he came to Caesarea.


The multitudes listened with one accord to the things that were spoken by Philip, when they heard and saw the signs which he did.


Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Messiah, that he is the Son of God.


but we preach Messiah crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,


For I determined not to know anything among you, except Yeshua the Messiah, and him crucified.


For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Yeshua the Messiah.
