Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.*


They were offended by him. But Yeshua said to them, *A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.*


and Shim`on blessed them, and said to Miriam, his mother, *Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Yisra'el, and for a sign which is spoken against.


For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.


For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.


and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:


Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.


For I determined not to know anything among you, except Yeshua the Messiah, and him crucified.


We are fools for Messiah's sake, but you are wise in Messiah. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.


For we don't preach ourselves, but Messiah Yeshua as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Yeshua's sake;


Foolish Galatim, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Yeshua the Messiah was openly set forth among you as crucified?


But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.


But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.


To me, the very least of all holy ones, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Messiah,


looking to Yeshua, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


and, *a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.* For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.
