Now Sha'ul and his company set sail from Paphos, and came to Perga in Pamphylia. Yochanan departed from them and returned to Yerushalayim.


They wrote these things by their hand: *The emissaries, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.


But Sha'ul didn't think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn't go with them to do the work.


He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.


Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,


But Sha'ul said, *I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city. I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.*


*I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamli'el, instructed according to the strict manner of the Torah of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are this day.


But some of those who were of the synagogue called *The Libertines,* and of the Cyrenians, of the Alexandrians, and of those of Cilicia and Asia arose, disputing with Stephen.


Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
