A prudent man sees danger, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.


*Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.


So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Judeans, seized Yeshua and bound him,


When the centurion heard it, he went to the commanding officer and told him, *Watch what you are about to do, for this man is a Roman!*


But Sha'ul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, and he came and entered into the barracks and told Sha'ul.


So he took him, and brought him to the commanding officer, and said, *Sha'ul, the prisoner, summoned me and asked me to bring this young man to you, who has something to tell you.*


He called to himself two of the centurions, and said, *Prepare two hundred soldiers to go as far as Caesarea, with seventy horsemen, and two hundred men armed with spears, at the third hour of the night.*
