David again gathered together all the chosen men of Yisra'el, thirty thousand.
The king went up to the house of the LORD, and all the men of Yehudah and all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim with him, and the Kohanim, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
Then Chizkiyahu the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the assembly in Yerushalayim, to keep the Pesach in the second month.
Yoshiyahu was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned thirty-one years in Yerushalayim.
