Twenty years old was Achaz when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Yerushalayim: and he didn't do that which was right in the eyes of the LORD his God, like David his father.
Achaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Chizkiyahu his son reigned in his place.
In the twelfth year of Achaz king of Yehudah began Hoshea the son of Elah to reign in Shomron over Yisra'el, [and reigned] nine years.
